- You need 2 cups of (*180ml cup) Japanese Short Grain Rice.
- Prepare 1 of Abura-age (Fried Thin Tofu).

- It's 1/2 teaspoon of Salt.
- Prepare 1 tablespoons of Soy Sauce.
- Prepare 1 tablespoon of Sake (Rice Wine).
- You need 1 of Spring Onion *finely chopped.
- It's of Toasted Sesame Seeds.
It is made by cutting tofu into thin slices and deep-fried two times. Deep fried tofu, or abura-age, is used in soups, one pot cookery, noodle dishes, and in many other ways. It can also be delicious all by itself as a topping on a bowl of rice (domburi). Deep fried tofu can be purchased at most Asian food stores, but it is easily made at home, and all that you'll need is a wok for the deep frying and a colander for rinsing and draining.
