How to Make Appetizing Stir Fried Tofu

Stir Fried Tofu. Stir-fry two minutes, give the sauce a stir and add to the pan. Stir-fried tofu is not, perhaps, at the top of your list of scintillating weeknight dinners. But in its own humble, unassuming way, tofu can be downright sexy.

Stir Fried Tofu Tofu will be coated in sticky. It's so flavorful, high in protein, and much healthier than Chinese takeout. Stir-fries are like salads: you can put almost whatever in it and it will be a quick, healthy, delish meal. You can have Stir Fried Tofu using 10 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook that.

Ingredients of Stir Fried Tofu

  1. It's 300 g of tofu (roughly mashed).
  2. Prepare 10 cm of Japanese leek (cut into small pieces).
  3. Prepare 1/3 of mushroom (tear into pieces).
  4. You need 2 of eggs (beaten).
  5. It's 1 Tbsp of sesame oil.
  6. You need 1 pinch of crushed red pepper.
  7. Prepare 1/2 to 1 Tbsp of soy sauce.
  8. It's 1 Tbsp of white sesame seeds.
  9. You need of Salt and pepper.
  10. You need of Nori seaweed for topping (optional).

I've put in my favorite veggies into this recipe, but please feel free to substitute whatever hearty. Veggie and Tofu Stir-Fry gives you that delicious seared, slightly smoky taste that you enjoy in a good Chinese restaurant but are the results from. This homestyle tofu stir-fry is my go-to recipe to satisfy any tofu craving. By the way, since the tofu is pan-fried first in this recipe, I'll take this opportunity to share another cooking tip on pan-frying.

Stir Fried Tofu step by step

  1. Put crushed red pepper and sesame oil in a pan and turn on the low heat. Cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute..
  2. Add mashed tofu, Japanese leek, mushroom, turn the heat to medium, and cook until the liquid is almost gone. Put in the soy sauce and stir well..
  3. Pour in the beaten egg and shake the pan while stirring for 10~15 seconds, turn off the heat, add sesame seeds, season with salt and pepper..
  4. Top with seaweed before serving..

Stir fry the broccoli just for a couple of minutes, or until it gets a touch of brown on the edges. Spoon the Pan Fried Sesame Tofu and Broccoli over a bed of cooked rice, then top with sliced green onion.
