Ingredients of Green tofu spread

  1. You need 1 block of firm tofu, cut in cubes (I used fine herbs flavored but you can use any you want).
  2. You need 2 cups of fresh kale or spinach leafs.
  3. It's 4 of large tablespoon salad dressing (miracle whip or vegan type).
  4. Prepare 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  5. You need 1/4 teaspoon of paprika.
  6. It's 1/4 teaspoon of fresh ground pepper.
  7. You need of avocado oil or extra-virgin olive oil.

Green tofu spread step by step

  1. Put tofu cubes & kale/spinach leafs in a food processor and pulse till everything is chopped.
  2. Add salad dressing & spices and turn to high speed till everything is blended well.
  3. If you feel texture is to pasty, add oil of choice a little bit at a time while at high speed till you get the texture you want (I had to add about 1 tablespoon of avocado oil).
  4. Serve and enjoy! 😊.

Smoked tofu is usually firmer and contains less water, but make sure to press out any excess what before blending. You can replace vegan mayo with avocado purée, but know that the spread will get.
